Do I need insurance to hire the venue?
Yes. All hirers are required to hold current public liability insurance with a minimum cover of $20 million for the duration of the hire.
What’s included in venue hire?
Venue hire may include access to agreed spaces and standard equipment, depending on your booking.
Technical production, staffing and additional equipment can be discussed during the enquiry process.
What if my event involves children or young people?
Events involving children or young people may be subject to additional safeguarding and compliance requirements. These will be discussed as part of the booking process if applicable.
Am I responsible for damage or cleaning?
Hirers are responsible for:
– Leaving the venue in a clean and tidy condition
– Any damage to the venue or equipment caused during their hire
Can I organise a site visit?
Yes. Site visits can be arranged by appointment and are recommended for most events.
